Watching paint dry...

So, first of all, let me give you a quick overview of where I stand with the physical work (the models):
Cheyenne and Challenger are 30% done. I worked on some details today and painted the inside of both ships black. The models will not be lighted, but painting the inside black has certain advantages (it's a must if you want to damage them like their on-screen counterparts). I'm still undecided how to do the escape pods. Really not looking forward to make hundreds of excape pods, but I don't want to use tape.
Most of the time went into my new website. I activated the Cheyenne class construction subpage to give you an impression of what's to come. My focus right now is on getting that thing done and using it as a template for the other ships. As a side note: wix allows me to easily create a mobile version of this website. In a perfect world, you should have no issues with my website when accessing it on your phone. I will have an eye on it, but my main focus is the desktop version.
In other news, I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Revell Typhoon kit to prove my theory about the teardrop-shaped thing on top of the Cheyenne "wings". I noticed that a very similar piece is part of that set when I looked at pictures of the model parts of the sub. In my overconfidence, I already added the info to the Cheyenne page, but so far, it's only a hypothesis.
